Bikes N Guns
Okay, not really BadAzz, but it has a cool factor all it's own...

RE: Bikes N Guns
Don't know what the message here is? Putting a $3000 plus Weatherby rifle that probably shoots $6.00 apiece bullets, with a lowly MOPED. Kinda funny in a way. At least put the rifle with a Vincent "Black Shadow". Now, that would of been the best. I know, I know, a little critical of me. Makes ya think about the common sense of advertisers. A MOPED---being the best? At what?? OOOPs--gas milage!! Thanks Alleydude-- I needed a good laugh.

Went back and relooked at that bike. It's a Trail 50. Kinda shameful. LOL

But remember, this is from 1961. Honda's weren't Mopeds, they were Hondas. I have a '67 Honda 90 and I would love to go tooling through the woods with my hunting rifle slung over my shoulder. These bikes are a hoot to go two-tracking on, and I can really understand the appeal of them back in the day.

RE: Bikes N Guns
Looks like 2 things are missing from that picture, the front fender and a holster for his rifle.
My uncle had the Trail 70 a long time ago. It was pretty fun, he could keep up with me on my CB100 through the woods. But on the open road, he could only go 60 mph while mine was good for 80.
I bet those little bikes in good condition are worth some money now.

Hey Del, back when I was a young guy, my dad used to go hunting on his mini bike, it was called an Artic Cat Climber. I still have that thing out in the shed.

Yeh, I don't know what's up with the missing front fender on that bike. I've never seen a stock Honda without a front fender, and you would think that if it were for trail riding you'd definately want one. Mud and rocks don't feel to good on the face, let alone water and what-not.

Here's my Honda if you haven't seen it pictured elsewhere:

DANG!!! Gives a whole new meaning to "Locked and Loaded". Let's all go out and get a Ural with side car. Well, ya gotta have some place to hold your ammo belt.
