New here. I thinl I will like this site.

I just had an experience i would like to share.

Several, at least 10, years ago I bought a used Taurus 22 revolver.

i was starting to have aproblem with the cylander releasing. Finally the front locking bar jammed. I couldn't open or close the cylander.

i took the gun to a gunsmith. he called and said he would have to send the gun back to taurus for repair.

To my surprise Taurus repaired the gun, replacing some parts, for no charge.

I did not know they have a lifetime warranty.

If you are trying to decide which gun to purchase, this might be of use to you.

First off, welcome to the FPG! Great to see new "faces" here.

It's also great to know there are a number of stand-up firearms manufactures out there. I have been looking at Taurus because of their price, and if they stand behind their product like you say, I may just have to look again. Thanks for sharing!

That's good to know about this model, if I was to purchase one.
Too bad that so many of the American gun manufacturers have gone downhill and have let foreign manufacturers to become better quality and service minded.
